The System consists of two basic structures, the Nozzle Section and the Catch Trough. The Nozzle Section creates the planar water screen to be used as a projection surface. The Catch Trough recovers the water fallout, filters it and re­circulates it back to the Nozzle Section.

Nozzle Section

The Nozzle Section contains the nozzles, filter/baffle element and an external plumbing manifold which controls water flow and distribution.

Catch Trough

The Catch Troughs perform numerous functions. They act as a catch basin, reservoir, filtration system, pump station and shipping case. The Catch Troughs are manufactured in 10 ft sections which are mounted on casters for mobility. The system is self contained with the exception of AC power and initial water fills.

Catch Trough Specifications:

Main Pump(s) requires 208V. 3-phase, at 18 amps/leg/10 ft of trough. System is provided with a 100 Amp GFCI with Camlok tails on the line side.

The Control System and drain pump systems require one 115VAC, 20A, Edison circuit.

A standard 3/4" garden hose bib or tap water is required for the initial water fill as well as a drain capable of handling 8 GPM @ 40 PSI for trough drainage.

Pyrotek provides 200 ft of water hose for fill and drain.
